Serving Those Inside and Outside the Church
We believe gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those inside and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities. We have several ways you can volunteer with our faith family. Below are just a few of these opportunities. For more information and a list of other opportunities to volunteer with us, please contact our main office here.
Volunteers in our Preschool ministry (birth – preK) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones during weekend worship services through singing, dancing and teaching the truth of God’s Word. They check-in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and care for babies and toddlers.
Volunteers in our Kids ministry serve K - 5th graders during weekend worship services through singing with the children, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word. They check-in kids, lead classrooms, and provide assistance to classroom teachers.
MIDDLE + HIGH SCHOOL
Volunteers in our Jr. High and High School ministry get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering to them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They greet students, set up events, lead small groups and sing or play on the worship team.
Volunteers on these teams are seeking to serve our community to show the love of Jesus. We have several opportunities for this type of service throughout the year. Please contact our office for more information about upcoming opportunities.
SHORT TERM MISSIONS
Volunteers on these teams travel from a couple of days up to two weeks to serve others for the sake of Jesus in locations outside our local context. Opportunities fill up fast when available so make sure to keep a look-out for upcoming trips, and sign up early.
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
Volunteers on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and set up for services and events.
Volunteers on our Guest Services team welcome all of our guests at our Sunday morning gatherings. They make sure everyone feels welcomed, connected, and included during their time with us. They also follow-up with our guests after their visit with us to pray with them, answer any questions, and invite them to join us again soon.
Volunteers in Community Groups lead or assist in leading groups to cultivate Christ-centered, confessional community. They oversee and/or host groups of 12-15 individuals, develop leaders, encourage non-members toward commitment to Christ and encourage members to faithfulness, communicate regularly with their oversight and attend leader events.
Volunteers on our Facilities team serve behind the scenes. They take care of the church building and grounds and keep things looking and working great. They clean the church building, maintain the church grounds, prep for services and events, and help with landscaping, painting and light construction.
