12th Street Students is the student ministry at 12th Street Baptist, which consists of middle school through high school students (6th grade-12th grade). The student ministry exists to make much of God and to make disciples of Jesus.
Every Sunday morning in the Venue (Student Area), students are encouraged to attend our Sunday morning small groups that take place during our Sunday School hour which are divided by high school and middle school and also by gender. During this hour, students are encouraged to grow together by unifying around the Gospel.
During the fall and spring, our student ministry meets in smaller groups to study together and to learn how to apply the Word to our lives, as we follow Jesus and live life together. These meet in homes in our community.
Every Wednesday night, middle and high school students gather to worship, growing closer to God and one another as they seek truth. Students connect before worship, playing ping-pong, video games, or just hanging out at the Cafe. This is a great place to check out our student ministry. The Venue Entrance is located around the backside of the church at the glass door marked “Student Area/Church Office.” Doors open at 5:30pm and Student Worship starts at 6:00pm, usually ending at 7:00pm.
Other Events and Activities:
Each fall, spring, and summer our student ministry produces a student event calendar for students to connect and live life together. Our student ministry always looks forward to DiscipleNow in February, a weekend long event for students, and Fuge Camps, our week-long summer camp!
