Welcome to 12th Street Kidz, where we believe that worship can be fun, every child matters, and God has a special plan for each of us! We teach kids weekly that God’s Word is true and helpful, and it points us to Jesus.

Safety Protocols for 12th Street KIDZ:

We place a high value on the safety and security of your children. We adhere to strict standards and perform thorough background checks and trainings for all of our volunteers and paid staff. We have also implemented safety protocols for all our children's ministries related to Covid-19. Please take a moment to review these protocols here: Safety Procedures of 12th Street KIDZ

Sundays:

We have Preschool Worship (ages 2-4) & Kid’s Worship (Kindergarten-5th grade) at 9:00 am & 10:30 am on Sundays, which involves singing and dancing, creative teaching of the Bible, as well as purposeful games and activities. Nursery Care for young children (birth-24 months) is available, as well as a nursing mothers room, just down the hall from the sanctuary. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each service to allow us time to spray and sanitize our rooms between services.

Wednesdays:

Mission Friends (pre-K) and Children in Action (K-5th grade) meet each Wednesday from 6-7 pm. Each month, we alternate between North American and International Mission Studies which focus on the following important lessons:

Week 1: THE HEART OF MISSIONS, is spent applying truth from God’s Word and focusing on a monthly Bible passage for the kids to memorize by the end of the month through fun and creative games each week.

Week 2: THE PEOPLE GOD USES, is our study about a missionary who is serving in North America or around the world, and the kids learn the power of talking to God through prayer.

Week 3: THE PLACES GOD WORKS, is a cross-cultural study with hands on experiences, food tastings or games, as kids think outside of themselves and their “comfort zones!”

Week 4: LIVING ON MISSION, is when we provide an organized opportunity for our kids to do a hands-on mission project, at church or in our community.
